Our Pro Wire Athlete of the Week for May 24 is the South Central Lady Cougars softball team
On Friday, the Lady Cougars captured their fourth consecutive Regional Championship after grabbing a 3-1 win over host Hutsonville-Palestine in the title game of the Hutsonville 1A Regional. The Regional Championship is the sixth overall in the program’s history and sends the Lady Cougars to the Casey-Westfield Sectional where they play in the Semifinals on Tuesday, May 27 at 6:30pm against the winner of the Martinsville Regional Championship game between Casey-Westfield and Martinsville.
