For the second time this week, CHBC girls basketball found themselves in an overtime battle, but were unable to pull out a win as they were dealt the 61 to 54 loss to Nokomis. CHBC trailed 10-8 after the first quarter, but cut that small two point deficit in half as they outscored Nokomis by one, 12-22, in the second quarter and trailed 21-20 at halftime. Each team would toss 12 more points up on the scoreboard in the third quarter as Nokomis maintained the slim one point lead over the Bobcats, 33-32. CHBC was again able to outscore Nokomis by one point, 12-11, in the fourth to tie the game up at 44-44 at the end of regulation. A 6-6 battle in the first overtime would have the game continue to be tied up 50-50 to send the game to its second overtime. Nokomis would go on a 11-4 run though in the second overtime as CHBC could not keep up and suffered the 61-54 loss.
