The seeds and schedule for one of the longest running conference tournaments in the state, the 89th Annual National Trail Conference Boys Basketball Tournament, were released on Saturday morning with play set for Monday, January 27 thru Saturday, February 1 at Altamont High School. Defending conference champion St. Anthony is the #1 seed for the tournament at 5-0 in conference play while last year’s tournament runner-up Dieterich at 4-1 is the #2 seed and host Altamont is the #3 seed at 1-1 in conference play. The #4 seed goes to North Clay at 2-2 while Windsor/Stew-Stras at 1-1 is the #5 seed and South Central at 1-2 is the #6 seed. St. Elmo-Brownstown will be this year’s #6 seed at 1-2 in conference play while 1-3 CHBC is the #8 seed and Neoga at 0-4 wraps up the tournament field as the #9 seed.
