Ramsey boys basketball dropped to 0-3 on the season after falling to Lebanon 80-59 in their final game of pool play at the Mulberry Grove Thanksgiving Tournament on Friday. The Rams got out to a quick lead but would trade baskets with Lebanon’s top scorer DeVaughn Ware, but eight points from Waylon Williams and six each from Cooper Tedrick and Teagann Snider in the quarter had the Rams ahead by one, 22-21, at the end of the first. The see saw battle continued into the second quarter as the two teams would be knotted at 38-38 at halftime. The Greyhounds began to take advantage of mounting Ramsey turnovers and several starters in foul trouble in the second half and the Rams found themselves down 58-48 at the end of the third quarter. Four Ramsey starters including three of the four players in double digit scoring at that point for the Rams would foul out in the fourth quarter and Lebanon would pull away to defeat the Rams 80-59. Ramsey is now 0-3 on the season and will play in the Seventh Place game on Saturday against Mt. Olive at 1:30pm.
