Thomas Ritchey ends his Vandal football career with his name written in the record books. Thomas is in the top 10 for career rushing yardage with 1,480 yards and became the 9th Vandal to reach 1,000 yards rushing in a single season. Thomas is now tied for 2nd all-time with Travis Blain for most rushing touchdowns in a season with 24 (Trevor Smalls is #1 with 31 in 2017). Thomas also joins Smalls as the only Vandal rusher to record 4 touchdowns or more in 3 games in one season. During his senior season, Thomas cleared the 2,000 yard mark for total offensive (rushing and receiving) yards in a career.
