Vandalia sophomore Chase Laack will begin competition today at the IHSA 1A State Golf Tournament being held at Prairie Vista Golf Course in Bloomington. Laack is scheduled to tee off at 10:09am from the tenth tee. Laack will play one 18-hole round today. To qualify for the final round on Saturday he will have to finish in the top 25 in the opening round today. This is Laack’s second trip to the state tournament in two tries after he tied for 21st place with a score of 82 as a freshman in 2018.
