Vandalia’s Kaiser Selected for East-West All Star Dual

Vandalia senior wrestler Ryan Kaiser will get to wrestle one more time in his high school year after being selected to compete for Team Illinois in the annual East-West All-Star Wrestling Dual to be held on Tuesday, March 8 at 7pm at the Jon Davis Wrestling Center in Edwardsville. The dual pits Team Illinois against Team Missouri and features seniors from the Metro East and surrounding area competing for Illinois and seniors from across the St. Louis area competing for Missouri. Kaiser finished his senior season with a record of 44-10, qualifying for the 1A Individual State Wrestling Tournament in the 160lb weight class. Kaiser also qualified for the Individual State Tournament during his sophomore year in the 138lb weight class and wraps up his career with 147 total career wins as a Vandal.
