South Central saw their fall season come to a close Monday with a 6-3 loss to North Clay in the 3rd Place game of the National Trail Conference Baseball Tournament. After South Central put up three runs to take a 3-1 lead in the top of the 3rd inning, North Clay was able to tie the game with a run in the bottom of the 5th before putting up a three-run inning of its own in the bottom of the 6th inning to grab a lead they would keep. Jaden Grzegorek took the loss on the mound for the Cougars working 5 1/3 innings, giving up 6 runs on 8 hits and recording 4 strikeouts.
