Vandals & Comets Golfers that advanced out of last week’s regionals will be competing today in the Sectional Tournament.
The Vandals are in Class 1A and will be at the Sectional at the Franklin County Country Club in West Frankfort. Vandals Sophomores Chase Laack and Jacob Schaal and Junior Riley Ruckman are competing today, with those advancing moving on to the State Golf tournament at the Praire Vista Golf Club in Bloomington this Friday and Saturday.
The Comets are in Class 2A and will be at the Sectional at Charleston Country Club in Charleston. Juniors Christian Bauer and Ryan Heath will be competing with those advancing moving on to the Class 2A State Tournament at Weibring Golf Club at Illinois State University.
