The top two seeds will not meet in the Championship game of the NTC Baseball Tournament after both were upset in the semifinals on Wednesday. #2 seed South Central mustered just one run on three hits, falling to St. Anthony, 14-1, at Lions Field. Chase Dodson took the loss on the mound after allowing 7 runs on two hits in the first 2 2/3 innings.

South Central is now 15-4 and will face #1 seed North Clay in the 3rd Place game on Friday at 4pm at Paul Smith Field in Effingham after North Clay was upset by Altamont, 5-2 in extra innings in their semifinal game. #3 St. Anthony and #4 seed Altamont will face off in the championship game at 7pm Friday night, also at Paul Smith Field.
