Week 5–Greenville Comets (4-0) at Roxana Shells (1-3)
For the Comets, they are coming off a 40 to 8 Homecoming win over Hillsboro. Will Harnetiaux was 8 for 12 passing for 176 yards and 2 TDs and Jack Woods had 17 carries for 115 yards and 3 TDs in the Comets win. Greenville has outscored their opponents, 139 to 48, and will become playoff eligible with a win tonight.
Roxana is 1-3, but that is a bit deceiving. The Shells have only been outscored by 5 points in the first 4 games (97 to 92). They lost, 21 to 14, to Carlinville in Week One and lost to the Vandals, 26 to 22, last week–and Roxana led that game, 22 to 13, in the 4th quarter.
