Week 3-Vandals (2-0) host Staunton (1-1)–7 pm
The Vandals are coming off a 48 to 7 win at Carlinville last Friday. Staunton is coming off a 40 to 14 win over Hillsboro.
For the Vandals, Matthew Wells is coming off a game where he threw 5 touchdown passes and also ran for 2 TDs. For Staunton, Junior QB Zach Ury threw for 259 yards and 4 TDs and also ran for 94 yards.
In the latest AP Poll for Class 3A, the Vandals moved into the poll for the first time this year, coming in at #9.
Tonight is the Vandals first home game of the season. They will also be back at Mark Greer Field next week for Homecoming vs. Roxana.
