(Undated) — Negotiations continue to drag on between Major League Baseball owners and players. The MLB Players Association proposed a 70-game regular season schedule yesterday. The proposal was ten-games longer than the latest offer by the owners. MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred has expressed frustration that a deal to resume play hasn’t been reach, telling reporters last night that “This needs to be over.” Manfred failed to reach an agreement despite face-to-face negotiations with players’ union head Tony Clark earlier this week.
