The Ramsey-Mulberry Grove Rams fell behind early and could not recover, falling to the Odin/Patoka/Sandoval Eagles 19-4 on Tuesday. OPS opened up the bottom of the first inning by scoring 4 runs, before tacking on one in the second, five in the third to take a 10-0 lead. The Rams would slowly chip away at the deficit when Zion Morrison would single to score Braxton Moreland, to make it a 10-1 game. Four batters later, Carson Phillips would draw a bases-loaded walk, before Jackson Elam reached on an error to score Morrison and Max Reiss to cut the deficit to 10-4. The Eagles would end the game in the fourth, however, scoring 9 runs to put the run rule into effect, coming away with the 19-4 win. The loss drops the Rams to 0-7 on the season. Ramsey-Mulberry Grove will be off until Friday, traveling to Brownstown to take on BSE.
