The Ramsey-Mulberry Grove Rams couldn’t overcome a slow start, falling to the Lebanon Greyhounds 7-4 on Monday. Lebanon would score two runs in the first, and one in the second to take a 3-0 lead. The Rams would battle back in the bottom of the second when a pair of groundouts would cut the deficit to 3-2. The Greyhounds would add a run in the top of the fourth inning, before the Rams would add a run of their own on a bases-loaded walk to Carson Caylor to make the score 4-3. Lebanon would add a run in the sixth and two in the seventh to push their lead to 7-3. Zion Morrison would single in the bottom of the seventh to make it a 7-4 game, but the Rams could not get closer, falling to the Greyhounds 7-4. The loss drops Ramsey-Mulberry Grove to 0-6 on the season. The Rams will be on the road on Friday to take on BSE in an EI showdown.
