Vandalia’s Depew and Hartlieb Sign Letters of Intent to Play Football for Milikin University

After helping lead the Vandals to an 11-1 season and a trip to the third round of the playoffs, seniors Konor Depew and Bryce Hartlieb signed their letters of intent on Monday to continue their academic and football careers at Milikin University. When asked why he chose Milikin, Depew said he loved the idea of playing in a competitive conference.

And Hartlieb says he loves the direction the program is going, as well as being close to home.

As for continuing to be teammates and roommates at the collegiate level, Depew says he loves the opportunity.

And Hartlieb says it’s a special opportunity he could not pass up.

Depew and Hartlieb are joining a Milikin program that went 3-7 last season. Both Hartlieb and Depew shared all conference honors for both offense and defense.
