Last week began the official start of Spring Baseball practices for the IHSA season, and the Brownstown/St. Elmo Bombers are gearing up for the 2026 season. Despite the weather forcing them to be inside for the first full week, BSE coach Ryan Beccue said he’s looking forward to being on the field this week.
And Beccue also says that having a fall season helps them shake off the rust for the spring season.
The Bombers are looking to improve on a fall season that saw them go 6-12.
