Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City boys had their season end last night with a quarterfinal loss at Tri-County, 74-55, in the Tuscola 1A Regional. Scoring was plentiful in the first quarter as the Titans took a 22-14 lead over the Bobcats. CHBC was able to cut their deficit in half as they outscored Tri-County 15-11 in the second quarter and trailed by just four points, 33-29, at halftime. The Bobcats struggled stopping the Titans in the third quarter being outscored 20-11 and they would enter the fourth quarter trailing 53-40. Tri-County’s 21-15 run would close the game out and CHBC was handed the 74-55 loss. The Bobcats end their season at 10-20.
