During Monday’s 52-47 win over the Flora Wolves in the IHSA Class 2A regional, Vandalia Vandals Junior Qwentyn Stombaugh reached a milestone in his high school career, crossing the 1000 career point threshold.
After the game, Stombaugh said that it feels really good to get it out of the way as a junior.
And Stombaugh says that he is looking forward to helping fellow teammates who helped him get to that milestone next season.
Stombaugh finished the game with 14 points, giving him 1006 points on his career so far, with at least one more game in his junior season and all of his senior season to add to that total.
