The IHSA boys basketball postseason gets underway tonight as regional quarterfinal games will be held around the state. All I70Sports area teams will be in action tonight with several hosting home games for the quarterfinal round. Seventh-seeded Vandalia will host their own 2A Regional and will get to be at home in the quarterfinal round, hosting #10 seed Flora at 6:00pm. It will be the third meeting between the two teams this season with each team picking up a win. We will have the broadcast of the game live on 107.1 FM WKRV and available streaming at www.vandaliaradio.com and on the Vandalia Radio app.
In other area games, three other teams will be at home for their first-round games. #7 seed St. Elmo-Brownstown will host #10 Wayne City at 6:00pm at and #5 seed Dieterich will host #12 Grayville at 6:00pm while #3 seed Altamont will host their own Regional and will be home all week beginning with a quarterfinal game against #14 Sandoval at 6:30pm.
Four area teams will be on the road for their quarterfinal games as #15 Mulberry Grove will be at #2 Carlyle at 6:00pm, #16 Ramsey will be at #1 Lawrenceville at 6:00pm, #13 South Central is at #4 North Clay at 6:30pm and #9 CHBC plays at #8 Hume Shiloh at 6:00pm.
Semifinals for all regionals will be played on Wednesday with Championship games on Friday.
