Altamont girls basketball struggled to find a way to slow down Olney in the first half as they fell behind by 21 points at halftime and went to take the 64-34 loss in the final game of their regular season schedule. The Lady Indians scattered nine points across four scorers in the first quarter and were outscored 21-9 by the end of the quarter. Altamont was held to just two baskets from the floor in the second quarter but went 5 of 7 from the free throw line as they again scored nine points and trailed the Tigers 39-18 at halftime. The Lady Indians had their best scoring quarter in the third but were still outscored 17-13 as their deficit grew to 56-31 the start the fourth quarter. Altamont was held to just three points in the final quarter as they suffered the 64-34 loss. The Lady Indians wrap up the regular season at 10-15. They will get to host their regional quarterfinal matchup on Saturday as they take on Ramsey-Mulberry Grove at 7:00pm.
