CHBC Girls Suffer NTC Loss to Neoga


A slight mid-game scoring lag was the difference for CHBC in a 56-44 loss to Neoga at home in National Trail Conference action on Wednesday night. Both teams got their scoring moving early but the Lady Bobcats trailed 19-15 at the end of the first quarter. CHBC’s scoring would slow in both the second and third quarters as they were held to single digits being outscored 12-8 in the second and 13-7 in the third quarter and would trail 44-30 to start the fourth quarter. The Lady Bobcats outscored the Lady Indians in the quarter, 14-12, but were only able to cut their deficit to 12 points as they suffered the 56-44 loss. CHBC drops to 4-16 on the season and will another NTC matchup tonight as they go on the road to face Windsor/Stew-Stras.
