The Dieterich Movin’ Maroons held to Windsor/Stew-Strass Hatchets to 16 second-half points en route to a 59-45 win in the quarterfinals of the 2026 NTC Tournament. The first quarter was a back-and-forth affair that saw Dieterich ahead 15-14. The second quarter would be much of the same, with the Maroons narrowly outscoring the Hatchets 16-15 to enter halftime with a slim 31-29 lead. Dieterich would begin to pull away in the third quarter, going on a 13-9 run to take a 44-38 lead into the fourth quarter, before closing out the game on a 15-7 run to come away with the 59-45 victory. The win improves Dieterich to 16-5 on the season. The Maroons advanced to the semifinals, where they will take on either St. Anthony or South Central on Friday Night.
