CHBC was held to just six points in the second and fourth quarters as the Bobcats couldn’t keep up with the strong offense of Cumberland in a 66-37 loss on the road in National Trail Conference action on Friday night. The Bobcats were outscored 21-11 in the first quarter and trailed 37-17 at halftime after being held to just a trio of basketball in the second quarter. The Bobcats had their best scoring stretch in the third quarter with 14 points, but they were again outscored and found themselves down 61-31 to start the fourth quarter. CHBC was held to just six points again in the fourth but did outscore the Pirates 6-5 in the quarter. With the 66-37 loss, the Bobcats fall to 8-11 on the season and to 1-4 in the NTC. They will be on the road again on Tuesday when they play Mulberry Grove in Egyptian Illini Conference action.
