The schedule for this year’s Vandalia Girls Mid-Winter Tournament has been released with play to begin a week from today on Monday, January 19. Last year’s tournament champion, Effingham, has grabbed the top seed for this year with Trenton Wesclin at #2, Salem is seeded third and Hillsboro comes in as the #4 seed to round out the top half of the seeds. Mascoutah is the #5 seed, host Vandalia is seeded sixth with Greenville at #7 and Mattoon at #8 rounding out the tournament field. Play will begin on Monday, January 19 with four quarterfinal games beginning at 10:00am and the tournament will continue on January 21 and 22 before the place games being held on Saturday, January 24.
