A six point scoring differential in the third quarter turned out to be the difference as Dieterich was a 43-38 winner over Ramsey-Mulberry Grove on Thursday night. In a tight back and forth first quarter, the Lady Maroons edged out to a slim 19-18 lead. The Lady Rams would flip that slim lead though in the second quarter as Ramsey outscored Dieterich 7-4 to take a two-point lead, 25-23, at halftime. The Lady Maroons would go on an 11-5 run through the third quarter though, regaining the lead to go up 34-30. The final eight minutes were again a back and forth battle with Dieterich having a small 9-8 advantage over Ramsey in the quarter as the Maroons beat the Rams 43-38. Ramsey-Mulberry Grove is now 2-12 on the season and will be back at home on Tuesday to host Greenville. Dieterich improves to 11-6 on the season and will be on the road on Monday as they take on Windsor/Stew-Stras in National Trail Conference action.
