The Bombers Sports Hall Fame has announced its Class of 2026 inductees that includes a list of six athletes and three coaches. Nominations were taken from community members and then the Bombers Sports Hall of Fame Committee voted on the nominees to produce this year’s class of inductees. The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held next month during the January 15th Brownstown-St. Elmo girls home basketball game prior to the Varsity contest. This year’s honorees are:
Lowell Benefiel – Class of 1949
Clark Bayles – Class of 1963
Phil Sefton – Class of 1972
Jeff Fulk – Class of 1977
Justin Atwood – Class of 1994
Katy Heckert-Noble – Class of 2004
Coach Pete Johnson – Coached from 1938-1975
Coach Harlan Beckel – Coached from 1981-1998
Coach Deb Hunter – Coached from 1996 to present
