BSE Girls Back in Action at Pana Thanksgiving Tournament Crossover Round

Brownstown-St. Elmo girls return to action at the Pana Girls Thanksgiving Tournament tonight six days after playing their pool play games in the split weekend style tournament. The 5-1 Lady Bombers were dealt a tough break in the tournament after going 2-1 in pool play, tying with Lincoln and Highland who also finished 2-1. With the normal head to head tiebreaker out as an option, the tiebreaker went to free throw percentage which dropped BSE to third in the pool and puts them in the Silver Flight today for the crossover round where they will face the 4^th Place team from Pool B, Mattoon, at 4:00pm in the Pama Jr. High Gym. The winner will move into the Fifth Place game on Saturday at 4:30pm while the losing team will go the Seventh Place game on Saturday at 3:00pm with the opponent for either game being the winner or loser of the crossover game between Pana and Gillespie.
