Ramsey boys basketball put 49 points on the scoreboard for the second game in a row, but were hampered by turnover troubles as they fell to Mt. Olive 67-49 at the Mulberry Grove Thanksgiving Tournament on Wednesday. The Rams fell behind in the first quarter despite eight points from Max Reiss as they trailed 19-13 to end the first. Ramsey was able to tack on 15 second quarter points, but another 19 from the Wildcats in the quarter had the Rams trailing by ten points, 38-28 at halftime. The Rams were able to cut into the lead several times again in the third quarter, but Mt. Olive bounced back each time to put the Rams down by double digits again, 50-39 to end the third quarter before closing out the game on a 17-10 run that handed Ramsey the 67-49 loss. The Rams fall to 0-2 on the season and 0-2 in pool play. They will wrap up pool play on Friday at 5:15pm when they face Maryville Christian.
