Lady Rams Takes Third Place in EIC Tournament

After a 1-1 showing in Pool Play on Tuesday, the Ramsey Lady Rams rebounded to take third place in the 2025 Egyptian Illini Confrence Volleyball Tournament with a 25-16, 25-23 win over the Martinsville Lady Bluestreaks. The two teams traded points in the first set before Ramsey would pull away going up 16-10, before going on a 9-6 run to close out the first set 25-16. The Lady Rams would again find themselves up 16-11 in the second set, but Martinsville would slowly close the gap to tie the set at 23, before two straight Ramsey points would put the match away 25-23. The win improves the Rams to 14-12 on the season. They will begin play in the Nokomis Regional on Monday, taking on Christ Our Rock Lutheran at 6 PM.
