Lady Aces Take 5th Place in E-I Tournament

After going 0-2 in pool play on Monday, the Mulberry Grove Lady Aces rebounded on Thursday to come away with a 25-16, 25-18 two-set win over the Patoka/Odin Lady Warriors in the fifth place game of the 2025 Egyptian Illini Confrence Tournament. The Lady Aces got out to an early 7-1 start in the first set, and never looked back coming away with the 25-16 win in the first set. Mulberry Grove would carry over that momentum in the second set to come away with a 25-18 set and match win. The win improves Mulberry Grove to 10-13 on the season. They will begin play in the St. Elmo/Brownstown Regional at 7 pm on Monday, taking on South Central.
