VCHS Graduate and Northern Illinois University Sophomore Golfer Conner McCall turned in a very strong showing at the Quail Valley Collegiate event in Vero Beach, Florida.
For the tournament, Conner shot a 207 (-9) which was good for an 8th place finish in the event overall and was the top finisher in the tournament for the Huskies. McCall got better each round of the event shooting 70, 69 and then finishing with a 68 in Monday’s final round. As for the team, NIU finished in a tie with Maryland for 11th place in the event.
As for the Huskies, they will start their spring February 23rd through 25th at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational.
