South Central picked up a two set win over CHBC in the consolation semifinals to advance to the Fifth Place game of the National Trail Conference Volleyball Tournament and CHBC then took a two set loss to Neoga in their final tournament game on Friday evening. The Lady Cougars were a 25-18, 25-7 winner over the Lady Bobcats in the consolation semifinal as they move to 11-14 on the season and will play the winner of the second consolation semifinal game between Cumberland in the Fifth Place Game at 11:00am on Saturday.
After their loss to South Central, CHBC got one more match in tournament play and suffered an 18-25, 20-25 loss to Neoga. CHBC is now 9-20 on the season and after having the weekend off, will jump into their second conference tournament, beginning play in the Egyptian Illini Conference Tournament on Tuesday with games against Patoka/Odin and Ramsey.
