St. Elmo-Brownstown and Altamont volleyball will meet in the Third Place Game of the National Trail Conference Tournament after they suffered semifinals losses to Windsor/Stew-Stras and St. Anthony on Friday night. In the first semifinal of the evening, the Lady Eagles played the Hatchets tight but fell just short in a two set loss 21-25, 23-25. That loss put SEB at 15-11 on the season. In the second semifinal game, Altamont couldn’t keep up with top-seeded St. Anthony as they suffered a 15-25, 13-25 loss.
The Lady Eagles and Lady Indians will now meet at 12:00pm today in the Third Place game at St. Anthony High School’s Enlow Center. The two teams met just a week and a half ago in their regular season matchup at St. Elmo with Altamont coming out on top after a three set battle.
