In a rematch of last years NTC Tournament’s third place game, the Altamont Indians got a little bit of revenge coming away with a 4-2 win over the Windsor-Stew/Stras Hatchets on Saturday morning. The Hatchets scored a run in each the second and third innings to take a 2-0 lead. Altamont would respond in the bottom of the fourth inning when Brayden Elam reached on a fielders choice, before advancing to third on a passed ball and a steal. Blake Berg would single to score Elam to cut the deficit to 2-1. Back-to-back singles from Carson Milleville and Will Reardon would tie the game at 2 before a balk, and an error would give the Indians a 4-2 lead. Zaine Miller would then limit the Hatchets to just one base runner the rest of the way, securing Altamont with the 4-2 win. The win gave the Indians third place in the NTC Confrence Tournament. They end their fall season with a record of 11-10.
