Altamont volleyball took a short road trip east on Thursday night, but couldn’t keep up with the bigger school, Effingham, in a two set loss 16-25, 23-25. The Lady Indians drop to 9-9-2 on the season and will have today off before a long day of action on Saturday as they compete in the Pana Varsity Invite. Altamont will face Windsor/Stew-Stras at 9:30am, Pana at 10:30am and Okaw Valley at 1:30pm in pool play. Bracket play will then begin at 3:00pm.
