Altamont Baseball Falls to North Clay in NTC Semifinals , will play for 3rd place on Saturday

The Altamont Indians rallied to tie the game late, but ultimately fell to the North Clay Cardinals 5-2 in the NTC Semifinals Wednesday night in Louisville. North Clay scored one run in the first, and one in the fourth to take a 2-0 lead. The Indians would respond in the top of the fifth when Carson Milleville led off with a single, and would score two batters later on a single from Kade Milleville to cut the deficit to 2-1. An infield single from Cooper McManaway would score Kade Milleville to tie the game at two. That lead would be short lived as the Cardinals would score three runs in the bottom of the fifth, and would shut out the Indians the rest of the way to come away. The Indians fall to 10-10 on the season. Altamont will be back in action Saturday morning at 10 AM to take on Windsor Stew-Stras for third place in the NTC Tournament.
