Brownstown-St. Elmo baseball saw their fall season come to a close on Monday evening, suffering a 9-1 loss to North Clay in a rain-filled quarterfinal game of the National Trail Conference Baseball Tournament. The Bombers fell behind 9-0 after the Cardinals put up a run in each of the first and second innings before pushing seven runs across in the third. BSE was able to score their first and only run in the top of the seventh inning on a RBI single from Jayce Gillespie. With the loss, the Bombers end their fall season at 6-12.
