The South Central Lady Cougars Fresh/Soph team took home the Championship at the St. Elmo/Brownstown Fresh/Soph Tournament on Saturday. The Lady Cougars got a two set win over Ramsey 25-15, 25-23, beat SEB in two sets 25-15, 25-6 and then beat North Clay in two sets 25-16, 25-18. Sophomore Addy Ruholl, freshman Emmie Ruholl and sophomore Kennah Hiestand were all selected for the All-Tournament Team and Heistand was also named the as the tournament’s MVP.
