South Central put up 10 hits while CHBC was held to just two runs on four hits as the Cougars ran past the Bobcats 12-2 in the play-in game of the National Trail Conference Tournament at Lions Field in Kinmundy on Friday evening. South Central got off to a quick start in the bottom of the first inning as Sebastian Kruger hit a bases clearing double with the bases loaded to put the Cougars up 3-0. South Central attacked again in the bottom of the third inning when a pair of doubles from Hudson Moore and Isaac Guerrettaz and a pair of singles from Colton Tockstein and Aiden Hoover brought four more runs in for a 7-0 Cougar lead.
