The Altamont offense was firing on all cylinders, as they knocked off Neoga 12-1 on Tuesday night. Altamont would get on the board in the top of the second when Reed Stuemke would single to score Kaiden Wolff to make the score 1-0. The Indians added on in the top of the third when Brayden Elam brought home Cooper McManaway, and Elam would later score on a wild pitch to give Altamont a 3-0 lead. The Indians would continue to add on in the top of the fourth with a single from McManaway to score Will Reardon go give Altamont a 4-0 lead. Neoga would get a run back in the bottom of the fourth, before Altamont would break the game open with a three-run fifth and a five-run sixth to secure the 12-1 win. The victory improves Altamont to 8-9 on the season, and they NTC play with a record of 6-2. Altamont will be back in action Saturday to take on Woodlawn.
