The Dieterich Moovin’ Maroons got behind early and couldn’t recover, falling to the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes 12-2 on Monday. The Wooden Shoes scored two runs in each the first, second, and third innings, before Dieterich got on the board with a 2-RBI double from Mason Lidy. T-town would break the game open with three runs in the fourth, two in the fifth, and one in the sixth to put the ten-run rule into effect. The loss drops Dieterich to 8-9 on the season. They will wrap up NTC play on Tuesday when they take on St. Anthony.
