SEB Volleyball Drops NTC Matchup to WSS


The St. Elmo-Brownstown Lady Eagles suffered their first NTC loss of the season at the hands of the Windsor/Stew-Stras Hatchets 17-25, 21-25. The Hatchets got out to a 9-0 start in the first set, but the Lady Eagles would quickly respond to eventually tie it up at 15. From there however, WSS would go on a 10-2 run to close out the 25-17 set win. SEB would quickly put the first set behind them by jumping out to a 7-2 start, but the Hatchets would go on an 11-4 run to tie the set at 13. From there, the two teams would continue to trade points, with the set eventually being tied once again at 20. The Hatchets would go on a 5-1 run to close out the second set with the 25-21 win. The loss drops the Lady Eagles to 8-4 on the season, and 3-1 in NTC play. SEB will be off until Monday, where they will take on Casey-Westfield.
