Altamont Can't Stop St. Anthony in Non-Conference Game

Altamont was held to just one hit in a 9-1 non-conference loss to St. Anthony at home on Wednesday. Unlike the Indians offensive output against the Bulldogs just a day earlier that saw them fall in a close game in their official conference matchup, Altamont did not get their first hit and score until the bottom of the fifth inning. Kade Milleville led off the inning with a single to shortstop and then stole second base. Zaine Miller walked to put two runners on and then Brayden Elam hit into a fielder’s choice that allowed Milleville to score. That would be it for the Indians despite putting nine runners on base in the game by walks. With the loss, Altamont drops to 6-6 on the season and will have a couple days off before playing in the North Clay Tournament on Saturday.
