Altamont sophomore Evan Elam earned medalist honors as the Indians finished second in a triangular and the Lady Indians had one golfer compete individually in a quad match at Oak Glan Golf Course in Robinson. Elam shot a 39 on the day to be the match’s low scorer and to lead the Indians. Freshman Mason Schaub and senior Joel Bauer finished six strokes behind Emal as they both finished with scores of 45. The Indians shot a 178 as a team, coming in just five strokes behind Oblong/Palestine/Hutsonville. For the girls, Cecilia Peary was the only Lady Indian making the trip and shot a 58 for the match. The boys and girls will be back in action on Thursday as they will face St. Anthony at Fore-Way Golf Course.
