The Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats fell behind early and were unable to recover, as they lost to the Neoga Indians 9-3. Neoga scored five runs in the first inning, and added one in the second, two in the fourth, and one in the sixth to jump out to a 9-0 lead. The Bobcats would chip away at the deficit with an RBI single from Daithyn Arnold, and Cayden Ondes scored on a wild pitch to make it a 9-2 game. CHBC would add on another run in the ninth off a home run from Isaac Wells, but could not close the gap further, as they would fall to Neoga 9-3. The loss drops the Bobcats to 1-7 on the season, and 0-5 in NTC play. The Bobcats will be back in action on Friday to take on Dieterich.
