South Central Baseball Shutout by Wooden Shoes


The South Central Cougars were held to just two hits on Monday, as they were shut out by the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes 11-0 at Lions Field in Kinmundy. T-town got on the board with one run in the top of the first inning, and would add on three in the second, and one in the third, before breaking the game open with a six-run fourth inning. The Cougars would only manage two hits, with both of them coming from Luke Shumate. The loss drops the Cougars to 5-7 on the season. South Central will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Dieterich for an NTC showdown.
