The Altamont Indians got out to a 4-0 lead, and never looked back, coming away with a 10-0 win over the Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats 10-0 on Friday. After striking out the side in the top of the first inning, the Indians wasted no time getting on the board when Kaiden Wolff hit a bases clearing double to give the Indians a 3-0 lead. Blake Berg would drive Wollf in on a double of his own to cap off the 4-run inning for Altamont. The score would remain until the bottom of the fourth when Carson Milleville would dive in courtesy runner Owen Reardon on a single, and another run would come across to score on a balk to make it a 6-0 lead for the Indians. Altamont would score four more runs in the bottom of the fifth to put the ten-run rule into affect, coming away with the 10-0 win. With the win, Altamont improves to 5-4 on the year, and 4-1 in NTC play. The Indians will be on the road on Tuesday to take on St. Anthony. The loss drops CHBC to 1-6 on the year, and 0-4 in NTC play. The Bobcats will be back at home on Monday to take on WSS.
