Vandalia boys golf took second at their Wednesday home match, coming up just short to Litchfield while beating Christ Our Rock Lutheran. The Vandals finished with a score of 172, finishing 20 strokes behind the Purple Panthers 152. Christ Our Rock Lutheran finished the match with a team score of 216. Owen Halford was the low scorer for the Vandals individually with a 39. The boys have a big weekend ahead as they will compete in the Mattoon Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
