St. Elmo-Brownstown moved to 2-0 in the National Trail Conference while CHBC dropped to 1-1 as the Lady Eagles topped the Lady Bobcats 25-18, 25-16 on Tuesday night. The first set was a tough battle with CHBC leading before the Eagles came from behind and pulled away at the end for the 25-18 set win. After SEB took an early lead to the second set, CHBC closed the gap up near the midpoint, but again the Lady Eagles held off the Lady Bobcats for a 25-16 set win to put the match away. SEB is now 5-3 on the season and 2-0 in the conference and will go on the road Thursday to take on Sandoval, CHBC drops to 2-7 on the season and 1-1 in the conference and with a scheduling change, they now will be off the remainder of the week before getting back into action on Monday at Macon Meridian.
